Meet The Drone Angel
Hi, I’m Emily!
Before I became a drone pilot, I ran a successful portrait and ground photography business for six years. My focus was visual storytelling. In 2017, I decided to take that to the next level by — you guessed it — becoming a drone pilot.
Ever since, my clients don’t need to subcontract out for aerial footage. I’m able to provide the full-service packages they’re looking for and I’ve increased my revenue.
I’ve worked with clients from all major categories — wedding, real estate, family, events, hospitality. You name it, I've probably done it.
I still am actively working as a photographer and drone pilot, so I keep my teachings current to the changing pressures of the real world.
I made this journey by myself, figuring things out as I went.

I’ve developed the curriculum for and taught a community college drone course, spoken at conferences, and led numerous private workshops, both on the water as well as on land.
